The official currency of
Argentina is the peso. " Between 1991 and 2001, the Argentine Peso was "one-on-one with the U.S. dollar under the Convertibility Law. In January 2002, the government of Eduardo Duhalde announced the end of this weight-dollar parity, which adopted the floating exchange rates.
The size of the banknotes is uniform in all their denominations, 155x65 mm. In the currencies of its dimensions vary depending on the value.
