CITY OF SAN LUI

The city of San Luis was established in 1594 by Don Luis Jofré and kept still, the remains of a past where pergeñó building the profile of the motherland

It was named San Luis de Loyola Nueva Medina del Rio Seco, and today is a thriving city and in progress. The name Puntanos its inhabitants, comes from the location of the city at the foot of the Sierras de San Luis, in the end called of Punta Venados

Currently 160,000 people live there and has an intense commercial activity, financial, industrial, cultural and recreational services. It is the seat of Provincial Government

Walk all around, recognizing that the time has not passed in vain and that village that began as an outpost of the Captaincy of Chile, now only memories and instead point vigorous stands a city with its own destiny

Barrios, concentrations manufacturing, industrial parks, high complexity medical centers, cultural complexes and sports, talk of a people convinced of their future.
